Between Good and Bad

Generous nature is a very commendable trait more noble. It's enough for us to understand, that God Almighty Himself has followed with nature "al-Karim", the Most Generous. If it was not because of generosity of God, we would not have nothing, no prosperity, nor peace. Is also a generous nature of the Prophet, his Companions, and the pious.

A benevolent God would be covered with shame and ugliness. Even good for His willingness be secured. An Arab poet once said "A generous, if you praise him, then everyone will come praise, but if you condemn it, will you find that you only own a reproach".

Generous means sacrificing in the way of Allah with their wealth or even body and soul. Philanthropists could materialize in the form of: a helping hand to give alms, charity, mosque construction grants, donations to the school; orphanage, and also includes helping the refugees, victims of war and others. Derwaman is a reflection of human solidarity from a servant of Allah, the servant of Love for others in need.

The highest level of charity is "Iitsar", ie giving something to someone more needy, while himself was still needed. This is what Allah described in His letter of al Hashr verse 9 in the telling of the generosity of Ansar (people of Medina) to the immigrants who came from Mecca to emigrate.

"And they were itsar (prioritize those immigrants) of themselves even though they need."
